MDC 2005

Rotaractors define MDC in many possible ways. Some call it an exquisite event, some call it a festival of friendship, some a treasure house of talent and some a learning experience. Nonetheless it is a three-day event that would provide you memories and merit for a lifetime. We also welcome you to come, experience and add another definition.

The is a convention of Rotaract districts in the subcontinent held once in two years MDC (Multi District Convention). MDC is also a programme that stretches over a period of three days and two nights. It is an enjoyable outing with a well blended mixture of leadership development programmes, enjoyable group activities and sight seeing trips, entertainment programmes, district presentations, inter district programmes and inter district exchanges. It involves the participation of more than 1000 broad minded and determined youth from the 28 states and 7 union territories from India. MDC also beckons the participation of youth from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal. It is the platform where the leaders of tomorrow come together to enjoy their stay and also sharpen their soft skills.

MDC had taken past for the past many years. MDC was hosted in all parts of country and finally comes to Coimbatore.

The previous MDCs have been grand gala events. While the Rotaract fraternity expects Coimbatore to put up a similar show, we the Coimbatore Rotaractors are all set to redefine MDC. We would like to keep in with the standards of our city, which has always gone the extra mile. With your support, we are sure that we can set an example

Our city resembles India in all aspects. The city is blessed with a pleasant climate throughout the year, sweet Siruvani water and fertile lands. The city is also highly reputed for its educational excellence and industrial infrastructure.

The multi cultural people are hardworking, helpful and friendly. The city has a string of tourism interests like theme parks, wild life sanctuaries, mountain treks, waterfalls and hill stations in its suburbs.

In keeping with its cosmopolitan status and multi cultural attitude, Coimbatore has always played host to lots of international conferences and carnivals. Coimbatore has seen countless consumer exhibitions, big book exhibitions, immaculate industrial conferences, tumultuous trade fairs and lots more. To add one more feather in its cap, Rotaract District 3200 brings MDC (Multi District Convention), a festival of responsible youth.
